This release is a 23-year-old single malt from Highland Park. Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2022, this whisky spent its secondary maturation in a Duncan Taylor Octave cask seasoned with sherry, lengthening its already impressive finish and adding dense, rich notes of candied nuts, dried and cooked fruits, and subtle wood spice, with the peat smoke lingering as a subtle accent in the background. Bottled at natural color & cask strength (107 proof) without chill-filtration. Only 78 bottles produced.
