Among the greatest producers in the southern Rhone, the late Henri Bonneau did everything the traditional way: no synthetic treatments, low yields, long aging in very old neutral oak. His wines are powerfully concentrated but still elegant, with the potential to age for decades...the very top level of Châteauneuf-du-Pape! Very limited in quantity and hard to find in the United States, this is a wine to snap up for any serious cellar before it disappears for good.
